Healing Timeline
- Day 1–2: Your lips will appear slightly swollen and the color will look more vibrant than the final result.
- Day 3–4: Swelling subsides, and the lips may start to flake as they heal. It’s important not to pick at the peeling skin.
- Day 5–7: The peeling phase ends, but the lips may feel dry or chapped. Hydrate frequently with a recommended ointment.
- Week 2–4: The color may appear lighter as the skin regenerates. This is completely normal; the pigment will gradually settle.
- Week 6–8: The healing process is complete, and you’ll see the true color and full results.
A touch-up session is usually recommended at this point to refine the color and ensure lasting results.
